Boulder Valley School District Substance Peer Education Network

BOULDER COLORADO, NOVEMBER 2006

On November 27th, 2006 G.O.R.D. was privileged to give a rather unique presentation to a group of Boulder Valley School District High School Students. This presentation was unique in that we were able to give these students our alcohol presentation, however, also hold a discussion regarding peer to peer education, and its effectiveness and obstacles.

The students we spoke to from Boulder Valley School District are currently in a leadership class, learning to be peer to peer educators themselves. This made for a fun and dynamic presentation as the question and answer session regarded a wide range of questions including alcohol education, public speaking, and how to be an effective in peer to peer education.
