"I would encourage everyone to check out the Gordie Foundation's website at Gordie.org. It is so well put together and encompasses Gordie's story so well. I just visited it and all the memories came back immediately. Particularly touching is his little sister Lily's tribute to her older brother, best friend, and biggest role model. She delivered this piece as a speech at a memorial service in Dallas and it is so amazing how strong she is about Gordie's death.
