G.O.R.D. Programs
The programs will start on the University of Colorado-Boulder campus. G.O.R.D will spread its message by using other Chi Psi chapters at universities throughout the country.
To be successful in spreading our campaign to college and high school students, G.O.R.D will use the following programs to achieve our mission.
- College Students (General)
- Sell key chains to spread knowledge, create awareness and raise money for The Gordie Foundation and future G.O.R.D programs.
- Organize events on college campuses including fundraisers or educational assemblies where recognized professionals are keynote speakers.
- Greek System
- Establish all Greeks as leaders in the alcohol awareness campaign.
- Personally visit fraternity and sorority houses to educate members regarding responsible and safe alcohol policies for fraternal and social functions.
- Work with Inter Fraternity Council and Panhellenic to establish an educational program for fraternity and sorority members regarding responsible and safe alcohol policies.
- High Schools
- Meet with seniors to teach them about alcohol and its risks.
- Give a perspective of how alcohol is abused in college and to actively be positive role models
- Discuss how to respond to peer pressure.
- Organize speakers and assemblies in local schools.
- Provide an educational video to show students.

- Provide contact information for the G.O.R.D organization
- Explain how to make donations and order products
- Have links to other related sites, charities and educational programs
- Provide information on signs of alcohol poisoning
- Communicate information of upcoming alcohol awareness events
- Communicate ongoing G.O.R.D projects and news
